Wow thank you SO much for sending your blogs. This technology is incredible. Is the rug you and Kats are sitting on one of your wedding gifts? It is gorgeous. Question, how are you planning to get all your gifts home? When Gma comes over for dinner we will show her your blog. I had printed your earlier blogs and she really enjoyed reading them. She took out her magnifying glass to read it. she kept saying over and over that for sure Emery would not have like to have gone. Maybe I should print this current one too so that she can read them leisurely over and over.
Sounds as if everyone is having a terrific time and glad to hear that Kats fam is so warm and welcoming. (of course they would be) I find that with other people in other countries too.
It's Kareem's Mom posting... YES, the rug is a wedding gift from Kat's grandma. They also received another one exactly like it from Kathy's brother, Ali. It is very beautiful and will look gorgeous in their abode, whereever that may be. The rug weighs about 50 pounds. Good question... how they plan to bring all of their gifts home. The day after the wedding, there is another party... a traditional party for women only where each of the women give the bride and groom a household gift. So, luckily we brought extra bags with us.
